Acceptable use policy
Last updated: 30 April 2026
The short version
EnhanceTyping is meant to help you type faster. Don’t use it to harass other users, fake your scores, or attack the service. We’ll remove results, suspend accounts, or refuse service for anyone who does.
Leaderboard integrity
You agree not to:
- Use macros, autotypers, hardware keyboard automation, or any tool that simulates keystrokes.
- Replay, splice, or modify keystroke streams before they reach the server.
- Submit results from an account that isn’t yours, or share an account to inflate scores.
- Reverse-engineer the test client to bypass timing or accuracy checks.
Suspicious runs may be flagged automatically. Confirmed violations result in the run being removed from the leaderboard and, for repeat offences, a permanent ban.
Account behaviour
Don’t use EnhanceTyping to:
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users (e.g. via display name or profile content).
- Display names, avatars, or text that are illegal, hateful, sexual, or otherwise abusive.
- Create accounts on behalf of someone else without permission.
- Evade a previous ban by registering a new account.
Technical abuse
You may not:
- Probe, scan, or stress-test the service without prior written permission.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that aren’t yours.
- Scrape pages or APIs in a way that degrades the service for other users.
- Use the AI weekly-plan endpoint to generate content unrelated to typing practice.
Reporting abuse
If you see something that breaks this policy — a suspicious leaderboard run, an abusive display name, a security issue — email hello@enhancetyping.com and we’ll look into it.
Enforcement
We may remove content, reset stats, suspend accounts, or terminate access at our discretion when this policy is violated. See our terms for the wider agreement.
